Standout project is definitely Slopefriend. It is a comprehensive re-design of the skiing experience built with the composited approach of both an insider & outsider.
I started the project as it now stands by subtracting all that I knew that has been accumulated so far. Design components included use of intuitive faculties along with a newfound empathy for the user (a beginner) and of course my very unique background as a World Class FIS Ranked Champion Freestyle Skier. It has been a journey of the most rewarding kind, truly. This initiative resulted from a lifetime of extensive research and personal practice, aiming to refine every noticeably outmoded facet of this sport that is near and dear to me.
Art Lesson Series
Additionally, I take great pride in the design of my Art Lesson Series, which merges educational content with artistic flair, making the learning process simple, engaging and most importantly - fun.
The lessons are derived and influenced by my study of sacred geometry and the works of Paul Klee & Frantisek Kupka.
This is the method I highlighted during my guest art teaching outreach to St. Clair Elementary grades 4th-8th.
There are 10 Basic Learning Modules that incorporate automatic drawing with an ascending level of difficulty and tasks. The applications of these lessons can be broadened into a simple meditative flow state practice or the become a basis for explorations into fine art.
People who tell me that they have no artistic ability before I share this with them come out feeling very different about their previous assessment.
In my own work, these foundational exercises have opened the way for me to accomplish rewarding outcomes.
